Steve has more than 30 years’ experience in small business lending and banking. He began his career with CDC Small Business Finance as a loan processor, quickly advancing to business development, and management roles for various small banks in Southern California, including Pacific Capital Bank, Goleta Bank, Bridge Bank, and Security Pacific Bank.
In 2012 he joined Plaza Bank specializing in SBA 7a and 504 loans for Owner Occupied Commercial Real Estate. He was promoted to Manager in 2016, leading the SBA team to record production. Plaza Bank was acquired in 2017, in early 2018 Steve and most of the team joined PB Capital, a division of CalPrivate Bank. They continue to provide solutions to the community’s Small Business lending needs in California.
